Joshua Birney – Worship Minister
Josh Birney has been a part of the Childress congregation for the past 13 years. His love for worship, singing and leading us in song is evident on Sundays. Josh is married to Julia and has two children. He calls Mt. Dora, Florida his home.
Ethan and Macey Curtis – Youth Ministers
Ethan Curtis, and his wife Macey, have served the Childress Church as youth interns in years past. We are so excited that they’ve agreed to become full time staff in 2023. They are such a blessing to our church and our youth. Ethan grew up in Vernon, Texas, while Macey is a Lubbock, Texas girl. They met at LCU while in college together.
Mikaela Darter – Childrens Minister
Mikaela Darter grew up in Clyde, Texas and loves working with children. Mikaela attended LCU where she graduated with her Early Childhood Education degree. Our bible classes and children’s bible program is top notch. She and her husband Jacob have been married for 2 years.
Amber Green – Administrative Assistant
Amber Green grew up in Childress, Texas. She is the glue that holds the office together. Amber has a MA in school psychology from Texas State University. She is married to one of our Elders, Eric Green. Amber and Eric have 3 children.
